A New Direction for Wagyu
NEWagyu was created as an alternative to conventional Japanese Wagyu, known worldwide for superior meat tenderness, taste and quality.

This three breed composite combines desirable attributes of diverse breeds to take advantage of heterosis in the resulting offspring.

For over 35 years cattle on Fischer Farm have been held to a strict production system which emphasizes fertility, yearly calving and steady production, adequate milk and good attitude in addition to meat quaility.
With the help of genetic testing NEWagyu uses Simmental and Angus to bring improved feed & reproductive efficiency, temperament and durability. Utilizing Wagyu genetics has helped to produce a product with superior meat quality characteristics.

NEWagyu is at least 5/8 Wagyu with a tenderness score of 6 or above and having the AA-SCD fat gene associated with healthier, low melting point fats
(not the GH Exon 5 test for AA genotype).
